Canopy is a sculptural amphitheater inspired by the classic bandshell architectural design. This design combines live acoustic performances with an architectural landscape. The conceptual design is inspired by the way trees create sound as leaves and branches rustle, which can at times sound like music. The intent is for the form to resemble a tree. This is achieved by having a single support column acting as the trunk, the roof frame as the branches, and the in-between panels as the leaves.
